Golden Ratio may be used by two players (one with eight carrots and one with five carrots). Each player may select a carrot from Kaballa's Market and take a Zodiac card from the other opponent. The player of the card decides who gets to select a carrot first.

Interactions[]

  • If either player owns the yellow pawn, then the rewards are doubled for each player.

Trivia[]

  • The golden ratio[1] (symbol, Φ) is approximately 1.618. It occurs in nature, in the growth patterns of some sea shells, tree leaves, and pine cones, and is thought to produce aesthetically pleasing designs.
  • The background of the Golden Ratio is a specific non-repeating pattern derived from the geometry of the golden ratio called Penrose tiles.
  • Jeff Bellinger, creator of Killer Bunnies, on the choice of 8 Carrots and 5 Carrots: "Yes, 8/5 seemed like the best set to use. 13 and 8 were closer but by then the game is over."[2]
  • Killer Bunnies artist Jonathan Young notes that the bunny on the right is also featured in Enginerds[3] (even though the bunnies are not the same color).
