Precession allows the player to roll the violet, orange, green, yellow, blue, black, red, and zodiac 12-sided dice to win the remaining Zodiac cards from the draw pile. The number of the current month (January = 1, February = 2, and so on) determines how many times the player may roll all 8 dice, stopping at a winning roll or once the player has won the remaining Zodiac cards. The dice must all be rolled together — the player may not save some of the rolls and roll the other dice. If the zodiac die comes up the current zodiac age of Pisces, the player wins the remaining Zodiac cards regardless of the values of the other dice. Otherwise the player can win if the zodiac die comes up as either the current date’s zodiac sign or the player’s zodiac sign and the numbers 2, 1, 6, and 10 each appear on at least one die.
- In 2060 the zodiac age changes to Aquarius.
- The number 25,920 in the lower right-hand corner represents the number of years in a precession cycle of the equinoxes.
