Re-rolling dice can happen under several conditions.
- During roll-offs, tied dice should be re-rolled.
- When the player has a pawn with the same color (or declared color) of a die that was rolled by player.
When two dice are rolled to determine which die is higher, if there is a tie, the two (or more) dice that rolled the same value should be re-rolled until they are no longered tied. Dice that are not tied should not be re-rolled.
If a player is unsatisfied with his dice roll, and possesses a pawn that is the same color as the unsatisfying die rolled, he may choose to re-roll the die once per card consequence.
