Terrible Misfortune cards immediately kill a bunny belonging to the player who drew the card. The player must then draw a new card. If the player does not have any bunnies, the card must be played on an opponent’s bunny. At the beginning of the game there are no bunnies, so Terrible Misfortune cards are discarded and replaced. This also happens if a Terrible Misfortune card is drawn at a point later in the game when there are no bunnies down in the Bunny Circle.
- Extremely Terrible Misfortunes kill all bunnies in the Bunny Circle, no matter who owns them!!
- The Heavenly Halo and Angel Wings protect a bunny from Terrible Misfortune. If the player has no viable target, then the player must choose an opponent's bunny to play the Terrible Misfortune card on.
- The Guardian Angle and Guardian Angel can counteract a Terrible Misfortune card of any type.
- Mordor references the movie trilogy The Lord of the Rings. Mordor is the area where the villain, Sauron, resides.
